17th Annual Dayton Lebanese Festival

Roja will be performing a brand-new set of dances at the 17th Annual Dayton Lebanese Festival! Show time is Saturday, 8pm.
The festival will run Friday, Aug 27 - Sunday, Aug 29. Admission is FREE!
The festival features authentic Middle Eastern food and pastries, traditional dancing by St. Ignatius Debbke Troupe, belly dancing by Conchi and her dance troupe Al Hambra; and dance troupes Raks Devi, Troupe Roja, Eqyptian Breeze, and others.
In addition, there will be amusement rides and games for all ages and, for adults, various games of chance including poker, showdown, and blackjack.
Authentic hand-made Lebanese foods of Kibbee, Kafta, marinated Garlic Chicken, Falafel, Shawarma (“Lebanese gyro”), Tabouli salad, Fatoosh salad (Middle-Eastern bread salad), stuffed grape leaves, hummus dip, homemade Middle Eastern mountain bread with zhata seasoning; and a variety fresh Lebanese pastries.
Middle Eastern gifts, cultural displays, and a number of arts and crafts vendor booths.
Maronite-Rite, Eastern Catholic Mass at 10 a.m. Aug. 29, celebrated by St. Ignatius' pastor, Rev. Pierre Bassil, in English, Arabic and Aramaic-Syriac language and including one of the oldest Eucharistic prayers in the Catholic Church.
